Camaloon's Paper project

The "Paper project" at Camaloon aimed at entering the Business Cards market (and other paper based products). The market itself was already mature and competitive, so my concept was to enter the market with a differentiating value proposition : opposing the existing leader of the market that based their products on infinite lists of rigid templates, our proposal was to generate unique and delightful designs based on the user's preferences and content input.

The project was cut short by the covid-19 pandemic, but extensive prototyping and testing had been made. The concept also came before the heyday of generative AI designs and would be easier to implement nowadays with the new technologies available.

Generating unique Business cards in an e-commerce setting

The following videos showcase the 2 main customer journeys for designing unique business cards through Camaloon's own "paper engine".

- The first video showcases the landing page explaining the process and option available to the customer, and guides the users through the first step of the process which takes the shape of a simple form which gathers the user's content and preference so that the engine can generate tailor-made proposals.

- The second video showcases an example of the proposal of curated and unique designs through a gallery page with filters that alter the designs, down to the edition of the layout, content and details of the chosen design within an advanced but simple edition tool.
