Camaloon
Camaloon was a leading e-commerce website selling personnalisable goods amd working in the industry of merchandising, corporate gift, and print on demand.
I joined Camaloon in 2017 and was the sole designer for a year before being joined by 2 others talented designers. I have led the UX/UI transformation of the business from a small B2C personalisation business to a full-fledge B2B oriented e-commerce leader.

The e-commerce website
When I started at Camaloon, my main challenge was to rebuild completely the e-commerce website to be able to handle much more categories, products, types of personnalisation, and content than was previously possible.
I had the full ownership of the design and experience of the website and associated tools, I worked closely with the Product Director, CEO, CTO and engineering teams.

The many lives of the "atelier"
At Camaloon, I've been responsible for over 4 iterations of the so called "atelier" tool, a full fledge design web app allowing users to personalise any of the website's many different products.
The atelier evolved from a canvas with manual placement of assets towards a more automatised suggestion engine baptised "proposal flow", especially useful for mobile users for whom manual placement of assets is more complex.

Backoffice for personnalisable goods
The new e-commerce website needed a strong backoffice to help the marketing team to manage the continuous growing number of products and complexity in terms of personnalisation, availability and supply chain.
The short video below is a quick glance at Camaloon's backoffice with an example of how to set up a new product on the platform.
I've designed all parts and features of the backoffice at Camaloon taking into account the necessities of marketing, operation and sales teams.
